We are now 3 months and a few days post op....Melissa had her final choir concert this week and was back in heels!  We saw her surgeon last week and he was thrilled with her progress, stating she is ahead of schedule on her healing.  She no longer rotates her hip when she walks and there is almost no sign of a limp...it shows up sometimes if she has walked too much.  It has been a hell of journey but well worth it....I don't think she has talked an advil in the past two weeks.  She did ice one leg one evening after a long walk but  no meds.
